So glad to see pictures of Avery Island. My first cousin is married to one of the heirs and we have our biennial reunion there in even numbered years. It is a unique place and unfortunately, it would take a week to see it all and longer to learn it all. Thank you for the showcase.

  • Ken Flynt says:

Avery Island is such a beautiful place.
    I so enjoy visiting there.

  • Bob Bresnahan says:

Great pics. Deb and I have just returned from New Iberia. Avery Island is a good place to spend a few hours. Beforehand stayed at Hubbard Mansion on St Charles in NOLA. Our host had been a member of CORE. He had once gone to New York state to pick up auto donated by Lena Horn to transfer to CORE worker in Meridian named James Chaney.
