My only connection with Judge Littlejohn was when I was clerking for a law firm in Jackson while in law school. My first assignment was to write an appellant brief in a divorce matter from north Mississippi. Our client’s trial counsel was Judge Littlejohn before he ascended to the bench. Spoke with him on a few occasions and found him to be the good ol’ Mississippi lawyer that could recall the slightest details of the case from memory. May he RIP.

    Wow. Surprised to hear this.
I found him to be opinionated, firm in his convictions; considerate to me and my clients. I did not always agree with him or prevail. I do recall cases I was involved in in which he demonstrated patience and compassion to my clients situations. He enjoyed discussing the good old days of law school and the practice with my Dad, in chambers, which I enjoyed.
