Bonus? Who carved the monument?
Wow. I have no clue. Nice question (I hope you have the answer!)
Harry Reeks. He and my dad were neighbors years ago when my dad lived on Briarfield Avenue in Biloxi.
I never met Harry Reeks, but Dad had some good stories, including Elvis Presley hanging around in the early 50s. Elvis and Harry were friends. Mom still has a black and white photo of Harry and a very young Elvis together in Harry’s yard on Briarfield Ave.
Great info. Thanks for that.
Sam Dale monument, Daleville, Hwy 39N, Lauderdale County. Brings back many wonderful memories of Daleville Day years back.

Right you are.
I believe he’s just right up the road a bit…
