Ed was a great friend and colleague. Ed had the intellect to grasp the issue and make the right decision quickly. Ed has pushed the bar on judicial excellence to the highest level. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Please keep the Roberts family in your thoughts and prayers. Jim Davidson
I second everything you said, Judge Davidson. I would add that I will miss his sense of humor, his genuine care about people, especially other judges, and his willingness to argue a point to exhaustion. He will indeed be missed.
